Red Tent Retreat is an all-inclusive weekend for all women to come and learn about embodiment together.
From Friday night to Sunday afternoon come to explore what it means to be an embodied woman. We will do Red Tent circles and henna with Aj. Yoga and body movement with Brooke, and Somatic Experiencing, which melds vocal sounds, and noticing how your body feels, and wants to move in big and small groups with Olivia.
Saturday you’ll have mini break out sessions to go deeper personally with each of our weekend guides, and rest time to journal on your own. Saturday evening we will go into a local forest to do an embodiment photo shoot with the amazing duo of Rosey Tones Photography and Gabby Stewart Photography. Adorned in henna to capture how we want to feel in our bodies, both as a group and one on one if desired.
To Note: Red Tent Retreat is an intentional weekend created for all women, cis, trans and femme identifying folks 18 years of age or older. A sober space, open faith. Please come with an intent to engage with activities as a group. The weekend has been created as a journey for you to explore the theme through different experiences. My passion for photography grew with the birth of my of my daughter. I wanted to capture all of her milestones and every facial expression. Documenting all of the little details that her children and grandchildren will one day look upon. As these moments become memories, these photographs will be here for all to see; our history. Getting to do this exact thing for the families I work with, is a huge blessing to me. I can't begin to describe how amazing it is to see your families grow with each session. Building relationships, while capturing your lifelong memories, is my passion. To see Rosey Tones Photography’s work www.facebook.com/Roseytonesphotography
